Drive your way along stunning coastal scenery through the South of England and Cornwall. Stop at Stonehenge, the most important prehistoric site in Britain. Continue on your way to Devon and stop for photos of Lulworth Coast which is part of the 'Jurassic Coast'. Head for the wild Dartmoor National Park, with its rocky outcrops, herds of Dartmoor ponies and expansive moorland. Explore St Ives, an harbour town along the Cornish coast. Try a Cornish pasty and wander along the alleyways and visit the renowned Tate Art Gallery. Stop at Land's End and admire the wild coastal views before driving back along the coast to see the famous St Michael's Mount. Head north and visit the town of Padstow famous for its fish and chips. Discover Clovelly a pretty fishing village clinging to the side of a cliff. Alternatively, explore Exmoor National Park famous for its dramatic moor scenery and seaside towns. Continue north to Somerset, stop at Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury. Travel on to Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and visit the Roman Baths. Head to medieval Lacock a picturesque village with a pretty abbey which was featured in the first two Harry Potter films. Travel through the Cotswolds, before arriving back to London.
Leave the big city behind and drive to the Cotswolds area of England. Spend the day exploring the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds, including Broadway, Chipping Campden and Bourton-on-the-Water. Discover Bibury and the cottages of Arlington Row. Drive through the southern parts of the Cotswolds. Stop at Bradford-on-Avon and visit Castle Combe, known as the 'prettiest village in England.' Lacock Village has been used as the setting for many film and TV shows. Continue to Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travel through Somerset and Devon and drive across Exmoor National Park. Cross the border into Cornwall and admire the sandy beaches and fishing villages. with its medieval streets and Georgian buildings. Polperro is a fishing village with beautiful cottages clinging to steep hillsides or visit St Michael's Mount. Journey south along the Jurassic Coast. Stop at villages such as Salcombe in Devon and Abbotsbury in Dorset. Drive along the Sussex coast, stopping at the many villages, castles and vineyards along the way. Visit Shaftesbury, with thatched cottages and quaint tea rooms. Historic buildings line the streets of Battle and stop at Rye a mediaeval town perched on a hill.
