“Wow five stars plus for the guidance and service we have received from Kathleen at Travel Directors.  From sailing with Scenic  from Budapest to Amsterdam, discovering Tanzania with Scenic Africa, yes we saw the big five including three leopards and lions in the trees. Explore Vancouver and Alaska with Trafalgar Tours, cruising the inner passage with Holland America Line, and then the Rocky Mountaineer, just amazing.  Now off to France and Spain with Marly Camino, then Helsinki and Russia, finally Switzerland, France and Cuba at Christmas.  One tip, if you are going a long way, get the best business class deal.  Kathleen will help you with this.  It really is not as expensive as you might think.   You will not regret it.  This time, it is QATAR, pyjamas and order meal when you want it, access to all lounges, Air New Zealand, Swiss Air, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Mexico, Canadian Airlines and Iberian Airlines.  Trust me, if you get stuck in Paris for twelve hours, Air France Business Lounge is not a bad place to be!  I have also been Fiji Air, China Southern, Air France, American Airlines, Korean Air, (free night accommodation,) Hawaiian and United Business Class.  Trains, Gold Class (use your Gold Card if you have one,) and Trafalgar Tours are good value. By the way, Business Class in the USA is called First Class.  Overnight in London?  Kathleen will tell you the show to see.  We did The Carol King Story.  Fantastic.  Lastly, if you are going to health challenging places, you’ll get medical advice for injections and pills.  We paid a bit more when we saw the Travel Doctor in Hamilton, but we were well the whole time in Africa.  Our Australia guests took the cheap option and were very unwell.  Lastly, lastly, the team will advise you on Visas, USA travel requirements, currency and you may well get a nice welcome home card.  It’s not how far you travel or how much you spend, just that you go.  Relax, yes planes, trains, ferries and buses can be delayed, but chill out and really enjoy the journey.  Of course you can do it on You Tube, but you really need to experience the best!  That is TK, Kathleen and Michelle at Travel Directors just waiting to make your travel dreams come true!  Now where did I put my passport?!”

Yes, Vietnam brilliant, China superb, ditto Singapore, got to have a Gin Sling in Raffles, Cambodia, Malaysia, Easter Island, South America and Galapagos Islands, Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales, Route 66. Wait, there’s more, Portugal, India  Cashmere and Fiji.  Of course there is our own beautiful country, Aotearoa/New Zealand!
Now pop in and see Kathleen, TK or Michelle,  I can see you smile already!  😊

After many years of business travel we have tried many local travel providers and finally we found the best.

Now retired, our travel is restricted to travelling at leisure and while we don’t travel as much as before, the same exacting standard is provided.

It’s no accident that our flights are almost always at a time of day we prefer to fly, that the hotels are where we want them and transfers are waiting to greet us,  on time and aware of traffic conditions no matter what the Country.

Walking in to The Travel Directors you are greeted with a welcoming smile and it doesn’t matter who you deal with there is a passion to listen and get into action.

We point all our friends and Family towards the Travel Directors and we know they get the same service we do. If we recommend a service to anyone we always follow it up to ensure our referral is as happy as we are. Travel Directors have never let us down.

Anything can happen when you travel so expect the unexpected knowing that behind the scenes you have a strong Team of people ready to step in and assist should it be necessary. Lost documents, lost baggage can happen it’s all part of the enjoyment of international travel. It’s comforting to know you are not on your own, no matter where you are. We certainly believe you can place your trust and faith in this passionate “Team of professionals”.
